Payment & Insurance

Your dental treatment plan at Smile Savers Dentistry in Columbia, Maryland will include a breakdown of all applicable fees. We will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Charges are payable at the time of treatment.

We offer the following payment options:
  • Cash
  • Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express 
  • Low- and no-interest financing through Care Credit and the Lending Club Patient Financing 
  • Senior Citizen discount
If special arrangements are needed for your dental care, please talk to our office manager prior to receiving service. Unfortunately, we do not accept Medical Assistance.


A CareCredit account is like a credit card and can be used at any health care provider that accepts CareCredit. CareCredit offers 12 months with no interest and up to 60 months with interest. For Invisalign, they offer 24 months with no interest. Visit their website for more information:

The Lending Club Patient Financing

The Lending Club only accepts patients with good credit and they have very low interest rates, as low as 3.99%. They offer plans from 12 months with no interest to 84 months with interest. Visit their website for more information:

Dental Insurance

Smile Savers Dentistry is “in network” for several major insurance providers. This means we accept their negotiated terms and fee schedules and the insurance companies submit payment directly to our practice. However, even if we are “out of network” with your particular insurance provider, we will still submit all dental insurance claims for you and help you walk through the process so they can reimburse you directly.

Please contact us for details on the insurance providers we work with and how we can help you obtain reimbursement from other providers. Patients remain personally responsible for their costs.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

Your dental appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request notification 48 hours before your appointment if you must cancel. But we know that unforeseen events or emergencies can make it impossible to keep a scheduled appointment. After a second appointment is missed without notifying us 48 hours in advance, a fee may be charged.
